I built myself a new PC last week, and everything was going really great, then tonight, for no reason, when I play a game, after 20-25mins my fps goes from 60-75 to like 10-15fps, whatever the game is (BF4, Wildstar, Farcry 3...).

It stays like that until I reboot my computer. Then everything is fine for 20-30mins.

My computer isnt running hot at all, CPU temp is like 40C and GPU is around 60C

I reinstalled my drivers (clean install), checked if everything was still connected in the computer (power on the GPU), still it keep doing that!!!

Anyone have any ideas?

Geforce GTX 770
Asus Z97 A Mobo
Intel I7 4770K
8bg ram

My computer is not OCed.

install msi afterburner and check your ram usage, when this shit occurs.

could be a motherboard setting, or maybe adjust the power options in control panel for maximum performance, also unpark the cores.

Nope, ram was running fine, cpu, gpu temps, I resetted the BIOS with the jumpers just to be sure.

Finally fuck it, I re-installed windows and now it seems to run with no problems.

I ran some malware detection programs and everything was great, computer wasnt OCed.

Stupid shit! hahah

Also, should I always unpark the cores?
