The thing that predominantly affects people who already think that porn/masturbation is something inherently wrong? The thing is, there are two kinds of people when it comes to masturbating.

One group are people who dont give it a second thought. They rub one out, feel good, and carry on.

The other group are people who think it's shameful, something baaaaad. Since they are human they will never be able to supress their sexuality. If you try to bottle it up, it will come out (not in aberrant ways necessarily, but it WILL come out). And you'll feel bad. And people identify that feeling of shame as being "addicted" to porn, since they at least recognize that it's something they have no control over. Just that they think it's a bad thing.

I actually think the guy from the video is right. Well when you have sex it's two different people, you share something intimate. Intimate touch and hugs release oxytocin, makes you feel closer to that person etc.

Masturbation on the other hand is kinda like playing games in SP. You play with yourself, and you get the pleasure, but don't develop that intimacy, that bond.

Also, for me at least, orgasm from sex and from masturbation feels different. When I have sex it's kinda more intense, dunno.

Plus when I do plan on having sex, I usually don't jerk of minimum of 1 day ahead.

The less you masturbate the stronger your sex drive is.

On the other hand (no pun intended), masturbation is a great stress relief, and reduces the risk of getting prostate cancer. You just need to take care not to jerk of 3 times a day Laughing

masturbation and sex are two different things. One is a "watch porn -> erection, ejaculation reward" message sent to brain. Then after very long time or doing the same (addiction) the brain ONLY reacts to porn, because it knows, the reward will come then. So in a short - brain is getting ultra sensitive to porn and less to other things.

My record is 4 weeks. For some reason I forgot to do it because I was hooked by other things. They were not important at all, not a life changers or anything.
