The drama begins in 43AD as the Roman Imperial Army – determined and terrified in equal measure - returns to crush the Celtic heart of Britannia - a mysterious land ruled by wild warrior women and powerful druids who can channel the powerful forces of the underworld. PS This could be actually pretty good Although..why their clothes are so clean? Yeah it's promo photos, but still..I hope they'll apply some filters or something..
It's not just the music though..There is something off about the whole video..
It looks too.."clean"? I dunno how to explain this.It doesn't look.. "real", maybe?.. Using different filters could actually make it look better.. And judging by the dialogues-monologues the writing is pretty amateurish.
Only watched e01 and so far the only good thing about it is David Morrissey
It's a bit like they're going for Spartacus style but the show just doesn't follow through properly
So, it turned out not to be like Spartacus at all. A LOT of focus on gods and prophecies, too much for my taste. There were some twists towards the end and you can see some bigger story arc forming. But overall I think it was merely average. The episode where the two romans found the hut of the ex-druid and got stoned was pretty good though.
