I thought about ways to avoid spam. I have 3 main adresses, one for rather spam related stuff, one for private stuff and one for my business (which i need to be clear texted on my website). These mail adresses are 5-15 years old and therefore i get a shi*load of spam every day.
I thought about ways on how to avoid spam:
- Installing a spamfilter on my main pc (though that wont help my iOS devices)
- Activating a spamfilter server sided.. which does not help much on gmx and gmail imho
- Rerouting all adresses via mx, like mailroute.net - which i found too expensive just for avoiding spam
- Rerouting all mail adresses through one provider with the best spam filter (i thought about gmx promail), though im not sure if that really would help
Any other ideas?

i dont quite get why i should forward, except saving the time to configure a second account on my devices. I could just create a new account for all the bullshi*, though i use this adress since more then 10 years and several accounts are bound to it. But the main problem is my business mail account, which is in clear text on my website (my customers are usually overwhelmed if they cannot click on the mail adress), and attracts a lot of spam therefore... im bound to this mail adress, but even if i renew it, it will attract spam in no time again...
So i need to find a solution at least for my business account, or even better, for all accounts.
I could live with mails marked as spam which are not, as long as i can take a look here and then at them.
Edit: i guess i have a solution... redirecting all mails to my own domain, and let it filter by something like spamhero.com. Hope that will do it!

i barely receive spam honestly.... like 2 years ago a simple gmail account generated 20 spams emails a day, nowadays there is barely spam for a gmail account. same applies for my other non-gmail accounts.

If you dont give away your email adress easily, spam is quite avoidable... unfortunately i didnt knew that many years ago haha
Atm im in a trial with this service http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/microsoft-exchange-online-protection-email-security-and-filtering-FX103763969.aspx
Quite cheap, and hopefully reliable.
Edit: i took the free trial of magic-it.at, i guess no one ever heard of this company... haha anyway, the interface is great and its nice to be able to decide who can write you mails and who not. Though i got 2 spam in the last 2 days, which is at least better then 40.
