People also give money to faith healers, feng-shui people, reflexologists, naturopaths and a fuckton of other vultures. These people WANT to be fooled and given the easy answer to tough questions. Too bad that charlatans are all too happy to take advantage of the gullible and desperate.
This kind of scattershot cold-reading is the most basic tool of the "psychic". Go to ANY of these performances, and you'll see the same suotgun approach. It's just that in true uncritical-thinking fashion, the audience will only remember the accidental hits they make and completely forget the misses, going home thoroughly impressed by this charade.
Hell. James Randi thorougly discredited and exposed Peter Popoff on national TV. He just went away for a few years and now he's selling miracle water and other religious nonsense. You cannot keep these parasites down, they only go away when they finally kick the bucket. An awful lot of people are simply desperate to be fooled if it gives them a bit of peace of mind.

Lol, Psychics...
Reminds me of the most famous male witch (whatever its called) in the Dominican Republic, people payed THOUSANDs of dollars for blessings and shit. I mean this guy was seriously fucking famous here and in Haiti.
One day he was going to do one of this revival thingys. He said, i will die and i will resurrect 3 days later. As he always did. People gathered around his casket, 3 days went by.... 4..5..6..7... well we are still waiting for him to revive. People started leaving and everyone was so confused.
The family then said that he was sabotaged, that one of his relatives used some curse blablabla.
Fuck these people. Feeding on ignorance.

There was a documentary in the UK recently of a psychic that had an incredible level of insight into peoples families and their lives.
Turns out, the guys sister was a fucking hairdresser in the community and was filling the guy in on personal details.
