Just read this, this is whats so depressing about this country.
SANTO DOMINGO -. Baby of four months died today of respiratory failure after agents of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) stopped the ambulance, for about 20 minutes, that transferred to the Children to Robert Reid Cabral Hospital from Juan Pablo Pina of San Cristobal.
The incident occurred around 11:00 am at the Sánchez, near Haina Road when officers ordered the driver to stop, who by loud asked to let him move because he had an emergency, explained Maria Tejada , aunt of the child who was on board the ambulance.
"At that time the agents used their guns and told the driver:" What fucking emergency, stop " and dismounted the occupants from the ambulance and then pulled the doctor by his chest outside the vehicle, who had the child in her arms, and told the others to dismount "recounted Mary, told another aunt of the infant.
The doctor explained that José Mendoza implored agents to let them go to which they responded, "If you take a step ill blow your brains out."
Doctor tried to reanimate her, but the child stopped breathing, we lost a precious time," said the doctor who claims that the girl stayed for about eight minutes without oxygen cannula which was removed when the officers dismounted him and the family.
While officers were reviewing the front of the ambulance, another vehicle that left the officer caught their attention and ordered the ambulance to continue their journey.

So the drug squad was suppose to arrest the ambulance driver? So does that mean the ambulance driver was a drug dealer or something?

Oh no, they stop people to "check them", they decided that an ambulance with a baby had to be checked and in the end they just gave up and took attention of some other vehicle that was comming.
The translation was wrong, the officers signaled him to stop, which is why he used the loudspeaker.
This was just a legal ambulance with an emergency being stopped and harrassed by our fucking police to "check them"

DNCD just released a statement that the thing was pure coincidence as they were expecting an ambulance carrying drugs through that sector, which they caught and on another place they caught the ambulance with the child, they say they only stopped it "briefly" but thats clearly bullshit and its gonna be investigated.
Im pretty sure knowing how cops are here that they were resisting the stop because of the emergency and the cops went full retard rambo and made them stop, pointed rifles at them, forced everyone out, yelled all kinds of shit, abused them, pushed them, and then finally after all shit was stirred they gave up and let them go, efectively killing someone.
Now WE were expecting a cover up bs story and we have it. I want to see whats going to be said tomorrow

I know it's dark to say this, but as a third world citizen myself, maybe that baby has it a lot better now than a life of being stepped on by corrupt scumbags.

Nah, even under all this bullshit, we can still enjoy things, at our pace and space. I know this family will suffer greatly from this, i mean, this is completely fucking insane. Rushing to save your children in ur arms and to see them die because some fucking cop has a stupid retarded unplanned agenda? Holy fuck, i would still be shooting at this hour.

There is no such thing as third world. It's all from the Cold War. First world were countries allied with US, second world were countries allied with the USSR and third world were neutral countries. Has nothing to do with income.

Update:
DNCD is protecting their agents saying "Drug lords do many tricks to hide the packages, we followed procedure"
Now local press leaders and the ambulance's origin hospital director are reporting that the Doctors and Drivers from the ambulance are being pressured by the "Investigative Commision" of the DNCD that is handling the investigation, to make them change their version of what happened. Other law supervising institutions are in silence about the case.
Family of the baby has not been contacted since the death of their baby.
Fucking people, i wish i had power and money, fucking injustice.
