Loved the first, but i was pretty damn bored throughout the second. Bought the season pass, but haven't touched a single one of them as i can't be arsed. Guess i won't be touching this either :/

Since this is a bit of a filler I wonder if that means Borderlands 3 might be in development, maybe for next-gen only and UE4?

I've pretty much given up on the Borderlands game. The whole leveling scheme just doesn't work well for grouping with friends. I'm always too far apart and everyone is always doing their own thing. I just didn't have the time that some did in BL2 and could never catch up. I think I quit playing around lvl 20 or so. Also, they did little to innovate the game. One ability, same old thing. There were some improvements, but not much IMO.

Hope BL3 is a NextGen only (PC ofc) candidate. Meaning that, what was at the end of BL2, coming true as story.
Didn't expect much from this, looks good nonetheless and more like a lengthy DLC, if it only offers half of what the original games did (although more is also great). It's a good time waster when I might get hit by the looting fever again. OX2 doesn't seem to be that much of an issue, but looks rather like a timer, than some actual cool feature, regardless of OX2 item loot tables.
I DO NOT HOPE, this gets the same story like SR4.
WE HEARD YOU LIKE DLC, SO OUR NEXT GAME IS DLC EVERYWHERE AND ESSENTIALLY BASED ON... DLC!
Not actually not that smiley, it's sad

I think this is the most likely scenario. Very similar with Arkham Origin's case.

I wouldn't mind a big standalone DLC (better be big else there's no reasons for 4 different classes), if it's as good as Tiny Tina's one.

I found both previous games incredibly boring.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Yup
.... I'll still get it though | You will be getting the ISOdemo, or else you'll be getting a kick in the nuts!
I'll get the ISOdemo and then in 2016 maybe, mayyyyyybe get the inevitable goty-no-seriously-guise-this-one-is-it-the-one-with-every-DLC edition for the cheap.

They said in the interview its notb gonna be as big as BL2 but it will b bigger than BL1.
Really like the idea about messing with gravity. Also playable the Claptrap sound cool , definitely my first char.
If its half as good an not so buggy as BA:O i will be satisfied

Urgh, I hope the multiple-studios-working-on-one-IP shit doesn't become a trend.

I don't understand the hate it is getting at all. You have 4 new classes, a complete new "world", no recycled locations, 2 new elements, and should have a bunch of new weapon types. Even at $50 it is valid as long as the length of the game is not fucking 2 hours long.
Unless I'm missing something, this is pretty much Bioshock 2. Bioshock 2 barely had any improvements and the biggest change was Plasmid on the off hand.

And yet playing as the Big Daddy felt absolutely no different than playing as Jack from the first one. It was still the same game, only now you had the ability to fire plasmids at the same time as weapons -- and a dash melee attack with the drill.

borderlands world is a boring one, rapture was not. i liked borderlands 2 but with each dlc the game got boring, same scenery and all, massive world where you have to run a lot and respawning enemies, i gave up after that snipers dlc
I can see your soul at the edges of your eyes..
