Anyone ever have one? How did it feel? What caused it or what did the symptoms or the pain feel like?
I think I have a hernia in my lower stomach based on all I read and what caused it and level of pain and discomfort. But I'm hoping against hope it's not it and I won't need surgery, that will suck

thought I had one once, went to the medical guys here, saw a doctor named Dr RUDE.. wait for it.... lol
Anyhow he was busy as fuck one of those no messing surgeon types, he came in with a student doctor, told me to take my shirt off, had a probe with fingers asked some retarded questions I thought then said "you are overweight go on a diet" :O And left the room.

Anyhow if you have an upper hernia of the chest you can sometimes see it poking out, its why I went but it was just muscle tissue I guess. Stomach issues with acid/pains/ and other types of ailments can be controlled with proper weight watching of the stomach area.. fortunately being 6ft and measured at under 35 inches == not being obese the fucking rude muppet doctor...
Family member here had a hernia and terrible acid issues, its painful, you dont get to sleep properly most the time and let alone daily grind.
His symptoms was just that pain, throwing up when trying to keep food down etc. camera or scan will prove it either way.

When I was in hospital to have my appendix removed a bloke came in with a hernia. He had an operation in the morning and went home later that day. He was walking and didn't seem in pain after the op.

I'm currently living with one herniated disk in the lower back, it's the very definition of pain in the ass
It appeared out of the blue. I could put the blame on tennis or football, but the truth is, it just happened for no reason and now I have to deal with it.
I've been told that surgery isn't recommended since the disk is delicate stuff, so I'm just doing those slow exercises that any physiotherapist recommends..with so-so results, but it's better than nothing I guess. (your hernia is quite different from mine though)

400€ ? What kind of health care do you have there? Is that in a private clinic? I had inguinal hernia on both sides. I caught it at the early stage and the bulges weren't big but it hurt. So, I went under a general anesthesia and a laparoscopic surgery followed. The whole procedure lasted about a half an hour. They patched me with two meshes on each side and thank God my problems were gone! They kept me in the hospital 3 days and the most important thing is ....I didn't pay a dime!

You should rule out GERD/esophagitis and gastritis first. As far as I know these could be what you're feeling, and GERD is very common. (I have it and often the symptoms are in the lower stomach, not where I'd imagine it to be)

it's premium, if you want free you get invasive, if you want non-invasive, you pay 400eur for the consumables of the operating machine, while the whole operation is still free

GERD, wouldnt I notice something? in terms of like.... heart burn... or burping... or whatever the fuck it is... I could barely walk normally and going up and down stairs was a slow motion affair... getting in and out of a car was also very unpleasant... I don't have time for this crap I have physical tests coming up in a couple months... fml
Hernia is usually visible, you get a kinda bulge in your lover abdomen area, depending on where it's located. Also there is some pain included.
Go to doctors asap.
I think he's thinking about a stomach hernia which is not visible outside. Only an endoscopy could tell. A sliding stomach hernia could cause short breath, like someone has punched you in the plexus or feeling pressure under the ribs. There is a fast remedy for such thing. Drink 2-3 cups of water, stand on your toes and jump to your heels. The water will pull down the stomach thus pulling the hernia out of the diaphragm.
