Turns out there's no official GG thread so I'll post in a new one.
So I got two questions:
1) Anyone got any real updated info on how to get let's say 3 pairs of GG? I mean that get-invite-from-ebay scheme. Is it still actual or there's some new solutions. (Buying at 3x price on ebay is not a solution)
2) Is there an alternative to GG as a HUD only. No internet or anroid needed - just something to project info on. It has to be the same idea of transparent display.
Only real answers from people who know their shit please *sigh*

Nope. It's still on an invite only basis.

Lumus is a military thing gone consumer, not sure about its current status if I'm honest. ICIS isn't even out yet, but about as close as you can get 
Edit: I assume you meant for daily use btw right? Because if it's sports, particularly for snowboarding and skiing, there's a lot more choices. |

Ah!
Well in that case, I think you're fresh out of luck. All of these things are on pre-order or in beta; the Spaceglasses Meta for example, or CastAR. Even the latter, which has just shown their HD variant (i.e. 2.0) at CES is still on pre-order.
