Not much unfortunately, since the physics were a step back if compared to Milestone's MotoGP 08 and the graphics were quite obsolete too. AI was so-so also. Still, not a terrible motorcycle semi-sim if you can tolerate some 'roughness'.

The race was epic indeed, but poor Valentino would deserve a win this year. Marquez is such a cannibal
Having bought MotoGP13 on rls-day, I am certainly into buying this one as well..but not right now.
Milestone do have a special way of listening to their customers and I wonder how much this one REALLY differs from MGP13, or if a patch could have done...
Nice idea to bring Laguna Seca and Donington back as DLCs.
After thoroughly 'trying' the rls today, I might just buy it next week for the online fun...
For all MotoGP-newbies (games and motorsports), THIS might take some time for you to master. Especially if all you have done up to now is racing cars.
However, after following this sport closely for over 15 years now (damn 'we' gaming-kiddies of yesterday just grow old too fast) I myself am pretty excited for this one..

He 'wasted' two good years with this 'Ducati-adventure'...a romantic idea for sure, but again, two wasted years. He might win one race or the other (Assen coming up, been there 7 times!!), however if M.Marquez stays healthy (he's just like a lucky cat), not much to do for #46 in the near future.
With no Marquez there, we would have a really nice battle between Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Rossi + 2nd Honda pilot.
With Pedrosa maybe out of the Honda-Team next year I'd love to see Vale and Marquez racing on the same material...as a manager I would go for a 'young' gun like one of the Espargaro brothers, but Rossi still 'sells' the most bikes in the biz...

Yup agreed, it would be an interesting move marketing-wise, with that good ol' sense of nostalgia. I don't see it happening of course, for the obvious reasons. Rossi would want another two-year MotoGP contract with Yamaha, so I'm assuming everything will stay like this. Marquez is incredible, but it's up to Yamaha to fill the gap with Honda, since at the moment their technology is inferior. One thing is for sure, even without big changes, next year there will be definitely more competition for the title (well, I hope).
Finally played the game for a while, I like it a lot actually. The upgrade is noticeable and the handling model is pretty solid in my opinion, an improvement over last year's version (I'm currently playing on Pro with traction control set on low - since having it completely disabled requires some practice).
It's obviously not a revolution, but at least doesn't look/feel too dated anymore. AI seems okay so far, didn't notice anything suspicious.
There's however a problem with the optimization that is forcing me to play at glorious 30fps (same framerate as the PS4 version), which is quite annoying in a racing game.
edit: the graphics aren't too impressive in general (especially the environments, a bit empty), but the bikes/models are very detailed. They look really good, imo. I might as well post some screens too
