After literally brushing the dust off I tried to play Second Son last night

1st update to console... download... install

30 minutes later... 2nd update to console... download... install...

~20 minutes later... update to game... download... install...

#nextgen

I played it for around 15 minutes before the disc ejected for no reason. I don't know if it was an update but I never had this issue with Killzone. It just ejects, the game turns off, and everytime I reinsert it, it just spits it back out again.

#nextgen

I read around and apparently there are 'fixes' (none of which I want to attempt without someone reliable confirming it).

Has anyone heard of this issue? It seems to happen to a fair few people from what I can see, but I'm not very keen on sending it back and having to wait months.

haven't had a single issue with my PS4. all my games are digital so i can't speak about disc problems. the only nuisance for me is controller battery life, it's way way too short, what were they thinking?!

there will be some patch that gives you the option to dim the light..but yeah sucks , sometimes I see the reflection on my TV.

And regarding the problem , I updated the game and everything works fine..hmm..

Interactive, if you leave your ps4 on standby mode don't the patches/upgrades download/install automatically?
