Is it normal for that little fucker to cause 100% gpu usage?
Because it does for me and when i right click and turn of play the gpu goes back to 0
if I hide it of course it fucks up the whole site.
it dont do it every time its odd, sometimes its on a mission and other times it wont bother the % rate. but it seems tied to is or such as when it is 100 and I turn play off it stops..
Any ideas about that :O

If you mean the one with the game logos, I hide it and it doesn't do anything to the site apart from not showing the ad.

It sometimes crashes my flashplayer, which is annoying when viewing vids on other sites Might get back to blocking it when it happens too much.

Guys, don't use Ad block plus, they are just some sort of mafia. Go with the other alternatives.

If by "mafia" you mean "sellout motherfuckers", then yes, that's correct.
I use http://getadblock.com/

Closed source and allowing certain ads.
I use AdBlock Edge now.
Quote: | Adblock Edge is a fork of the Adblock Plus version 2.1.2 extension for blocking advertisements on the web. This fork will provide the same features as Adblock Plus 2.X and higher but without "acceptable ads" feature. Adblock Edge was primarily branched off from Adblock Plus 2.1.2 source code package "http://adblockplus.org/downloads/adblockplus-2.1.2-source.tgz" created by Wladimir Palant. |

I understand why they have the acceptable advertisement option (Some websites need the money that ad-revenue bring, amongst other stuff.) but I turn that off too (Since you are allowed to.), plus using a subscription list or several.
(Switching to a different advertisement blocking extension likely works just as well however.)
EDIT: From reading the previous posts I wasn't aware they were "sellouts", is there some more info on that?
(I know they have a set of requirements to whitelist certain passive advertisement but I wasn't aware it was monetized if that's what it's about, plus as above you can turn that option off, for now at least.)

I'll continue using ABP as long as there are OPTIONS to avoid their "acceptable" advertising. Once they take that option away and start letting ads through, I'll switch.

Or you can switch to AdBlock Edge, it's identical but they disabled the acceptable advertising completely.

I use Chrome, not Firefox and again, as long as the option to disable "accepted advertising" exists I'll use it. I'm not seeing any ads so what's the point in switching?

You might not use that function, but their user numbers will be high enough so that they can still use this as pressure instrument

I don't know what you are exactly using in adblock plus, but I use the regular adblock on chrome and adblock edge on firefox.
