Westwood Studios, famed developer of the Command & Conquer series, recently commented to CNN on the launch of Sony's PSP video game handheld. During the brief interview, the President of Electronic Arts, who now own Westwood Studios, revealed that a Command & Conquer game will appear on the PSP.
"I'm prepared to make the necessary move. I've always wanted to play incredibly large scale games on the go, on flights, and even on road trips. I'm pretty sure the fans will be excited to hear that Command & Conquer, and Command & Conquer Red Alert will be making appearances on the PSP. We don't have a slated release date, but the games will have to be totally revamped for PSP's UMD architecture. Nonetheless, expect the Command & Conquer franchise to make its move on the PSP within this year."

Since its PC debut back in 1995, the Command & Conquer franchise remains one of the best selling and most popular real-time strategy game series ever to be released. This news will no doubt put a smile on the faces of many PSP owners, and could very well end up as a huge selling point for the system. |

Got to say, this isnt going to be the best game for the console.. DS does have features that would make RTS titles much easier to play!

It's like deciding between a country full of disease but has nice weather and a country with every camodity you could desire but weather that isn't great. If 1 RTS title can decide it for you go for AOE if it means that much to you.

lol.. Sony's lame attempt to try to combat the fact that the DS will have age of empires. To bad the PSP doesnt have a touchscreen.
Oh, and I clearly remember what the various C&C ports were like for the consoles, and they sucked for one specific reason. No Good Control.
BTW - Westwood studios no longer exsists, so I find it hard to beleive that they commented on this. Not to mention all the original C&C Developers have left EA for http://www.petroglyphgames.com/.

Not a chance, AOE is a far better game. Not to mention how messed up it will be playing an RTS on such a small screen. AOE can get away with it because of the possibilites the touch screen has but moving a cursor with a d pad on a 5inch screen will be a pain in the arse and you know it.

That you are a very annoying person, i prefer the DS instead of the PSP but i don't go in every thread talking shit about the other console.
