Resident Evil: Revelations 2, known as BIOHAZARD REVELATIONS 2 (バイオハザードリベレーションズ2 Baiohazādo Riberēshonzu 2?) in Japan, is an upcoming entry into the Resident Evil franchise and second title in the newly formed Revelations series. Formally announced at Sony's pre-TGS 2014 conference on September 1, 2014, the game is scheduled for a Japanese release sometime in early 2015.[1] The game will be released episodically and eventually a complete version of the game will be released[2] and will be available for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Steam. Revelations 2 is the first title in the series to have
"What in the COCK did I just see?" (yes the sidekick chick whos Barrys daughter says this in this trailer smh)

Players quickly learn about the quirky personality of Moira, who has a strange habit of cursing. "What in the moist bucket of fucks?" and "What the cocks?" are just some of the colorful, perhaps questionable lines she spouts.
Okabe says the Revelations 2 development team wanted to give Moira, the daughter of Resident Evil's Barry Burton, some sort of memorable, unusual quality.
"Because she's a brand new character, we wanted something that would give her something unique," Okabe said. "The Japanese script writer came up with [her] coarse way of speaking in Japanese and when it was localized, our English language writer did a good job of coming up with something that matched that."
“Using a moist barrel of fucks is quite a common saying in Japan when you are questioning something,” explained writer Dai Sato, “I hear it every day when I walk along the streets of Tokyo. You can hear the rowdy youths cry out the phrase whenever they joke about their lives. Even at Capcom, I hear the phrase used when talking about franchises like Rockman or Power Stone.”
“The next time I take a trip to the United States, I wonder if I will hear some people use the moist barrel of fucks saying,” continued Sato, “Even if the game is not received well, I hope that it will still introduce some of the more unique aspects of our culture to the West. On the other hand, I will not give a moist barrel of fucks if it does not.”
so .... from a metroid they turn this into a Girly Gears of War game , with forced co-op one has guns the other a flash light that by magic finds items and makes them blink
Wait. Is it with forced coop like RE5/6? I thought its gonna be like Rev 1 combined with drop in/drop out coop so I won't have to babysit the AI all the time
I grabbed episode 1. Its not bad! Im sure its much better in coop rather than continuously switching between characters. I wish they would remake the older games using this engine and UI. Framerate is nice too.
Looks like my feeling about this was 100% right. This is basically just a cashgrab standard TPS with some RE tagged on to it.
You call it a cashgrab I think it's the fact they simply can't do any better. Ever since the creator of Resident Evil Mikami (Evil Within) left Capcom most of the RE games have sucked. Generally Capcom has too. In this generation most games are going to be a cashgrab. Companies like Capcom are not taking risks on new IPs just milking old ones. Especially out of Japan you rarely get a new IP from any of Japans developers.
