The same exploit used for 5 still worked on 6 with beta 4; pod2g tested on 4S and iPad 2+3 particularly, so yeah Leo, it should be up in the next few weeks

Does anyone know what is the latest firmware on the ipad 4 and is it jailbroken?
Just bought a 4 and trying to find out before it gets here what firmware i need to be on.

So apparently there are no plans to release a new JB method untill iOS 7. Is this correct? My father, a man who can beraly use a normal phone, has decided in his infinite wisdom to get an iphone 4. He wants nav software on it, but is not willing to pay for it. Can I downgrade the FW?

FML! Seems like i have corrupted Cydia, and i don't have SSH or anything installed. I when i find a program i want to install from a repo the page is blank. Every damn download page is blank. I seriously do not want to restore the damn ipad to fix this if there is a solution. I don't have SSH or any other program to change files :/

Sorry mate, I'd have helped you if I could but I'm simply not learned enough in the intricacies of Cydia. I do know that iOS6 isn't signed any more, so if you restore you'll be forced onto iOS7.

Thanks, i guess what you say is true, i've also heard that i'm going to be force to 7.0.4, but i hoped there was a solution.
Well, then i don't see any other solution to this than update to this abominable version. This time i shall add that SSH thing so that i can repair cydia if it's corrupted by some shitty source in the future.

To be honest, I don't even think SHSH blobs have all that much use any more, I haven't heard of any >A4 devices being restored onto non-signed firmwares yet, not for a long time. That really is one of Apples bigger evils.

Tried that SHSH blob thing, and it didn't work for my firmwares and Ipad version. But i meant SSH where i can access files on the ipad with a terminal and delete files which might be corrupted so it will fix cydia. I didn't have that option now :/
