Majesco Entertainment has announced that Double Dragon Neon will be coming to Steam really soon. In addition – and even though there is no ETA or any PC assets as of yet – the company revealed that the PC version will support a new online co-op mode.
Here are the key features of Double Dragon Neon:
-Fight your way through 10 levels over 6 areas, including the dangerous city streets, the depths of space, and more!
-Deliver extreme damage by using a variety of brutal combos including spin kick, flying knee, one inch punch, and more.
-Get your friends in on the action with two player fast paced co-op with a slew of combos and the ability to drop in and out on the fly.
-Pick-up and throw objects including trashcans, bats, knives, and whips to use as weapons against unsuspecting enemies.
-Visit the in-game store throughout the game to get helpful hints, upgrade songs, and improve your fighting skills.
-Developed by WayForward, the award-winning team known for bringing franchise favorites back to audiences in exciting new ways, including: BloodRayne: Betrayal, A Boy and His Blob, Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Contra 4.
-Use songs you’ve found and add them to your mix tape. Songs possess mystical powers that only a true S’setsuken master can harness. You can even level up songs for maximum rocking
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YEAH!!!!! This is AWESOME news! I played this on the PS3 and it's MAGNIFICENT! One of the best remakes I've ever played, it captures the spirit of the 80s arcade version perfectly and the soundtrack by Virt (Jake Kaufman) is phenomenal. Oh man, I'm so glad about this, this is amazing news
-edit-
Soundtrack available here for "whatever you want, even free"
if it only were 2d sprites like on artwork in the 1st post... that 3d models/gameplay looks meh. why no one remakes classic beat em ups with HD 2d graphics, like for example dragons crown which looks fucking amazing. Those classic ones like punisher/cadillacs/final fight etc would sell like crazy on steam
I downloaded the Reloaded version and it won't save my graphics settings. The game always starts in 1280x720 and if I change the res it switches to a small windowed mode. Is this happening to anyone else?
-edit it looks like in order to get my proper res working I have to select full screen, then choose 2560x1440, then switch fullscreen to borderless and click apply. If I use fullscreen the game switches to the little window.
