Just to remind everyone that the 8th season of 24 premieres tomorrow night on the US, personally the trailer doesn't seem that good, but at least we got something to watch while we wait another 2 and a half weeks for Lost.

24 is right down there with Lost.
Lost is among my personal top 5 shows of all time, along with BSG, The Shield, The Sopranos and Band of Brothers (if you were to consider this as a TV show), imo Lost is one of the most versatile dramatizations there is.

Agreed, every show you just mentioned is a masterpiece imho. Anyone who thinks any of the above are inferior to Kim Bauer getting chased by a cougar can go pound salt. 24 is getting ridiculously repetitive, but hey, Starbuck is joining the cast this year so I'll be tuning in.

FNL, is that the football show with the hot cheerleader (Minka Kelly)?
I know it's about American Football, (Football is that thing commonly referred as soccer by our fellow friends from the U.S.), and yes, the show is about that sport, that's the main reason why I never had that much interest in trying to watch it, but I reckon that it probably should be a very good show.

Lost Another of these good show turned to shit by season 2.
BTW, did you watch Generation Kill?
I haven't watched Generation Kill yet, but I have it on 720 somewhere on one of my drives.
As for Lost, yes it had an average season on season 2-3, but this was mainly because the producers weren't yet given green light to end the show on their own terms, as soon as this happened, the show completely changed it's pacing, season 4 and 5 of Lost are among the best seasons of any show that I have ever watched...

Weren't my favorite season starters, but not that bad either. The Hastings character will be fun to see failing miserably. He seems to be as incompetent in his job as Logan was as president.
