Gnnh... should arrive to work a bit later.
I'm usually here from 7 am until 4-5pm and I get the first coffee of the morning. And it's always horribly disgusting.
Either someone runs a decalcifying program on the machine in the evening... or it just gathers all the gunk and as it rests over the night it's ready to crap it out on the first mug of normally delicious coffee :I
Tastes like ear wax or something...
(could also just run water through the machine for several cups but.... I'm impatient and zombie in the morning, too much thinking)

You don't drink coffee at home? I always drink it first thing in the morning Like, I'm half asleep, and I put water for the coffee and go to take a piss xD

Wake up 10 minutes earlier and prepare yourself some coffee at home Mtj, it's so much better than all that industrial water (assuming that you don't have bars there, those make the best and stronger coffee since they have the proper equipment)
I use the standard expresso , it's quite cheap but tastes great if you know what you're doing. Ready in 5 minutes!

I never turn down percolator coffee, isn't that what italians tend to use? I like it a lot. Although I might add it's kinda a hassle to make plus cleaning the damn thing for tiny amount of coffee it makes.
But if someone else sees the trouble, I don't mind.

What most people in the US use, well at least if they are older, and don't do that capa/frappa/drizzle and whipcream on top crap.
Grew up with grandparents and parents having the old perc type with the bubble on the top you can see it bouncing in. Or the peculator drip types. same concept just its drips down vs over and down.
We got one here of the old shiny metal with glass bubble types in the house, but hardly ever use it. I drink coffee maybe 10 times a year if I'm pushing it. its got to be REALLY cold outside for me to crave coffee. and I'm in Florida, we get maybe 10 'really cold' days a year.

Yup! Requires some basic 'maintenance' but it's worth it
@DXWarlock: Same here, people use the good ol' percolator on daily basis, every single family has one
Those who like cappuccino can head to the nearest cafè (there are thousands of them ), and they're set.

I drink coffee almost everyday and prepare it in cezve / turka Normally cold water is used, but I cheat to speed the process by using slightly cooled boiled water

Yeah, don't see you needing any more warmth.
Like I said, it's good. Can be fast, okay, but makes just way too little coffee. This is Finland, I want it in truck loads!

My ex and her parents lived several years in Italy and perc coffee is all they drink.
