|
 |
Since I heard there is alot of issues with PSP screen, I bought 2 PSPs and then 5 more at once, so I can do a triage and keep the none defected system, but after opening them, all of them had either dead pixels or dust under the screen. Sony quality control is terrible.
I returned all 7 of my PSPs and got my money back, and opened 2 more at the store under the supervision of a Sony PSP sponsored employee at my futureshop store, both of them came out defective as well, and supposedly these ones were from the "new batch".
The employee was telling me that futureshop had alot of arguments with sony with the dead pixel issues and that Sony was indeed aware of it, but I think they dont give a damn, cause they keep sending units not just having dead pixels but dust or scratches under the screen. So now overall I have returned 9 PSPs and all of them had screen issues, mostly dust under the screen.
I think the assembly line is at fault here, I think the air quality in the manufacturing plant is bad in China. Sony are very lenient in their quality control.

wow you must have a lot of spare csh to "experiment" . i bet the sales employees were shitting themselves when u carried 7 to the counter . yea i can understand 1/20 having a defect i mean they can't test EVERY 1 made but this defect is too frequent. i guess sony didnt think it was such a big problem, i bet the japs have the same prob, and they figure what's good for 1 will be good for another.

It's not a hater post it's a fact. there are things such as quality control circles this puts individuals in charge of the quality, i really doubt that they would all slack off (especially in a country like china).

dust under the screen is not a problem.. When its backlit you dont see the dust once it is on...

I don't think they are slacking off. You are simply looking at a few anectdotal reports of problems and extrapolating them into huge QC issues. Anyone with a basic understanding of statistical analysis knows that any hypothesis you could come to under these conditions is pure guesswork, most likely influenced by your own irrational biases.
Put that in you pipe and smoke it.
