Probably gonna have the same issue as the first game. Meaning you're traveling in a group, yet feeling like each group member is traveling alone.

No crack so I checked out the switch version. Works great with Ryujinx+60fps mod.
Yeah, it's more of the same, with some QoL improvements. There's apparently some shared quests now, but it's still more or less 8 separate stories with some banter thrown in.

Yeah but the stories are actually excellent this time makes a huge difference to me tbh.

I hate this. If it's a party RPG then show the selected members with the player in the overworld especially now that there are no memory limits.
1 and 2 are still amazing. |

It's a problem of their own making by making this a sandbox experience. They could make the stories linear and it would work quite nicely

Errr they do show all party members. Even the the followers you can temp recruit 
I mean the first game though, dunno about this sequel
