The first film was fun but I liked the comic book better especially the end fight in the comic. It will be interesting to see where this one goes and if we will get any more fun cameos.
LIKE... that has got to be on purpose to fuck with us.
The trailer shows absolutely nothing. No story info. Just a mash of scenes.
maybe it's smart. maybe clever. A fuck you to current trailers... just play one song but make it a good one. Make sure it fits the tone. Something with like... the end is near in the lyrics... it'll work trust me. everyone is doing music trailers.... and have an inspirational quote in the beginning like every action trailer.
And then release the exact same trailer... and at the very end where you realize nothing red bandish is in it... you go and say fuck me... i wasted 2 minutes.
Colin Firth was the best part of the 1st one, and....
The main protagonist just doesn't cut it, feels like a James Bond minus the style not enouf charisma to pull a "whatever".
ISO worth do.
First one was good, but this one? I dunno looks just generic, not worthy of buying a ticket..
Naw, what I liked about the first kingsman was that it knew about all the spy action cliches, winked at them, nodded at them, then one-upped the action sequences and somehow still managed to have a semi-believable villain. And all that without making it overly ridiculous like Austin Powers did (which I still love of course). It just managed to pull off a proper 21st century James Bond movie: style, humor, wit, action and a plot that kept you watching.
That's something that was missing from all the newer Bonds, they just were too gritty and "realistic". Older James Bonds did not take themselves so seriously, they had crazy gadgets and the villains were over the top and wanted to destroy the world, not that dumb 40 minute poker crap and villains that plan to control water for some third-world country and charge higher prices for it. Bleh.
The villain of the first ones was marvelous! I have watch it translated to Spanish a few times, and it was absolutely brilliant! The best translated voice in history
