So we bought a nexus 7 2013 edition for my dad, i was busy updating it to
4.4 and doing the usual updates/settings.
then suddenly i tried to update youtube, and it told me it wasnt available in my region... while other google apps updated just fine in the play store.
its a Nexus 7 2013 from german amazon , using it on wifi in belgium.
Did a quick google and only solution i saw was using some proxy/vpn but thats not what i woudl call ideal solution , wonder if you guys know what could be the issue here and if there are more simple persistant solutions to this.
get latest apk and install manually?
my 2012 n7 updated yt without any problems, can also try to clean some cache and dalvik, if u running art then better just root it and with root explorer delete apk from data/data/apps
