Apparently it was announced in 2010 but it's for the Korean market only.. (at least for now..)
It's supposed to be an MMO FPS but watching the trailers it just looks like it's F.E.A.R. 2 (inspired) levels with co-op. If it's F2P what's not to like
Trailers:
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Looks like Killing Floor but with better graphics TBH

why would koreans be able to get a hold of the franchise to make a game primarily for their country? (im sure other countries will get it eventually, but its not a global release is what im saying)
also... f2p? how do they expect to make profit out of this? sell hats? or guns with gold glitter on them? in a game like tf2 or normal rpg mmos, theres more time to show off your bling, and more powerful weapons and bonuses 'matter', but im not sure how they could fit in any microtransactional items that'll really fit in a game like this?
but whatever, like the others say, it might kill some time. but this definately is a strange game/release...
F.E.A.R. Online Officially Announced, Will Be Free-To-Play
Quote:
“We are thrilled to present the next entry in one of the most popular horror franchises of the last decade. F.E.A.R. Online will bring back the tense, heart-pounding action that the series is known for and make it accessible to a huge online community of competitive players.”
F.E.A.R. Online will be free to download, and like all Aeria Games titles, will be free-to-play.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

You get a stick and a tutu in the F2P version, you have to pay extra for a gun and armour

I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ?
Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!

Got an invite to alpha. Haven't tried it yet because I have to download a launcher and then download the game itself. Anyone else got the invite? Want to know if it's worth to download the game.
Also they send me a PICTURE OF A REDEMPTION CODE! I had to manually retype the key

- Production values seem very low.
- Crashes all the time.
Uninstalled.

Same. I was invited to the "beta"? but I never managed to finish even a single match because every time the game crashed for no apparent reason on random basis. Besides, the game is no where near the standard for a game made in 2013.

I'd say it fits into the standard perfectly well, thanks to the crashes
