LOl, $49.99 for a couple of the cars in the game? Already deleted. Rovio need to remember their roots. It's like having the most popular mobile game ever wasn't enough for them, they then had to charge full console price for what was a basic port, and now this...
Addictive as hell! The game's surprisingly good as I expected mere crap. Bonus points for the lack of popup ads. (The game utilizes "ad power-ups.)
Really annoying detail though is that birds have "energy" that charges up with time. One energy equals one race, takes 30min to charge one unit. Out of juice? Wait up or pay.
Dunno about the 3x but yeah it does run in a higher rez.
But it runs in a shitty rez, it doesn't run in iPhone 5 screen max rez, it's aliased a little with some vaseline effect...
That being said, graphics or not, FPS or not, Mario Kart 7 still has the much much better gameplay, and I'd rather take a Angry Birds Go in a shittier rez + 60fps than what I'm playing right now (terrible to play a karting game at 30fps).
