Coma, a relatively quiet Ambient Horror. We cut out a lot of the dificult survival aspect for the main character, because of his critical condition , and moved that into the second half. But towards the end of the game a rather unpleasant encounter is waiting, where the pace will quicken and you will have to stay alert and keep on your toes.
As the game unfolds, much of the story will be told in the past tense, and we will learn about the characters in this world which he has found himself in. This story will be accompanied by beautifully done video clips, so much so that this game can be almost be called a short video

I think it is something like "what if Gone Home was actually a horror game". Not sure. What confuses me is this line:
Quote:
Coma developed since 3 December 2011 . Initially on the Unity3d engine, and from August 2012 to the Unreal Engine 3.
The game is ready and polished.

But it has no release date, huh.

Another horror game, huh?

These are popping up everywhere just like fucking MOBAs.

For now I didn't get enough of em yet so it's fine Smile

Strange indeed that they would say it's ready and polished.. then why can't you buy it?
All other indie games that are on greenlight and ready you can already buy on their website or desura and such...

Seems fishy.

The only explanation I came up with is that they want to publish it first on Steam solely. It kinda does (and at the same time does not) make sense.

Yep, asked few questions and they clarified that they first want to release it on Steam and then later on other services.

Coma.Mortuary-RELOADED
Of all the horror games to be released, this one seems to be very interesting. I didn't see a lot of gameplay, so i'll try it and see if it turns out to be a nice surprise (or an instant delete).

Without playing the game yet (maybe is a POS), i think that's good, if it's a cheap game (or isodemo). A horror game can't keep the feeling for too long, once you learn the mechanics of the game, all the horror it can cause dissapears. I still haven´t played a horror game with the feeling of constant fear for 4 hours long (Undying, AVP maybe, but those are shooters)... i think it just can't be done.

I hope this one is more interesting than Daylight.

Daylight is a shitty horror game, but a decent walking simulator. Laughing

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

The game will now consist of three episodes.

http://steamdb.info/app/293320/#section_history

And the description and such on Steam and when starting the game has been updated to clarify this.
(Episode two and three will be free to players whom already own episode one though it wouldn't surprise me if it was intended to be paid DLC but they changed their minds after the criticism the game has received.)
