^^ In our project we work on workitems and defects. When something has been changed, it has to go through (various) tests before we deliver it to the customer. After development is done the projects are locked and only unlocked upon request and the changes have to be tested again.

Basically nothing leaves without being tested successfully...

They don't seem to be very organized to me :/

I think they are organized, but because they have so little time, they can't test it all properly. It seems, we the players, are the best testers for them.

Well yeah, or they get more time from the get go. I mean a project like BF4 should have a finished design at some point and then you make estimations on what to finish when and you add factor x to the development time just to be sure to cover all possible fuckups and QA should be done on everything...

Of course we can't expect a bug free game, but how about doing beta testing with actual code some months before the games release? So that the actual feedback can flow back into the game?

Fucking great... my system started to act strange outside of BF4 since 2 days now. Total system freezes and BSODs. Mostly when using Firefox and opening something that needs Flash...

I thought something is dying.. but guess what.. it's the fucking 331.65 WHQL (!) driver.

It's basicly this problem:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/621899/geforce-drivers/desktop-internet-browser-freeze-or-tdr-thread-w-geforce-460-560-gpus-updated-10-29-13-see-page-17-/1

And the thing is, I totally forgot that I had these issues before. At least kinda. And I always rolled back to older stable drivers because of it.

Thing is, BF4 looks and acts very strange with older drivers. It doesn't produce artifacts or crashes, it's not even giving me bad FPS, but it has problems with texture swapping and the lighting seems off. I guess I have to deal with that until they fix that shit (which will propably never happen).
