So during the night i filmed a bit and i wanted to mail me the clip (i don't have a cable to connect my cell to my pc). It's only a 1.6mb small file, but it won't let me send it ? Anyone knows why ? I know i can upload it to youtube, but it's such a chore through my cell
you know if there is anyway to upload files via wifi from a cell to a pc on the same network ? Now that would make things so much easier hehe.

I have something called FileApp on my iphone, something similar should exist for android perhabs? I used fileapp to transfer ringtones I made myself but basically just makes a library on the memory

yeah guessed as much. Only thing i can think of, is making a http accessible ftp server or something or finally buy the damn cable ... (i bought it with some cheap ass prepaid service, they are so cheap, they don't even include the cables hehe).
The cables and their program are quite crap. Most of the time it doesn't work. I just do my transfers with my micro sd card, put it in a usb thingie and it saves me time and trouble.
*Edit* Mm seems atleast they have newer cables. Still I'm not sure on their program. Half of the time it didn't recognize the cable, the other times it didn't recognize the phone/model. on the chance that one day the stars aligned perfectly in the universe and the damn thing worked it was as slow a snail

just pick a folder on your pc and give everyone write and read rights, then get a file manager from play store and browse to your pc´s ip and copy the shit into the folder
it's really just about transferring pictures and the occasional video clip. Pic's i can send via email most of the times just fine, but it always resizes and compresses them to really tiny file size. Which makes no sense imho.

Buy ANY android phone, even a 50 euro one. You'll have the same functionality as the 600 euro smartphones just without uber camera and other bells and whistles. But you'll basically have a micro-PC in your pocket.

Agreed. My smart phone's currently taking its last breaths. I've no interest in spending yet another truckload of cash on a piece of crap that holds together only until the warranty expires.

one of my favorite bands (oi hardcore from spain. they played for 2 hours 30. And then we partied with them for 2 nights 2 days straight. Really awesome those guys.
