I'm 25. A quarter of century old. But i look like I'm 20 tops!
In fact it happened to me, more than once, that people asked me if I'm older then 18 -.-"
My whole family is young looking. My dad is 60, and he has small amount of grey hair, my mom is 56 but also looks great, and my sister is 29, and she has the same problem that I have, she also gets mistaken for a minor, or that she's in her 20's.
And you may say: why are you complaining?! People go to surgeries because they want to look younger!
Yeah, that's true, in that regard we have an advantage. But look at it from my perspective.
Nobody takes me seriously! Not even my fucking family! They all treat me like I'm some kind of kid. I'm gonna be graduating soon ffs! With a degree in fucking physics! -.-" I'm not a kid who doesn't understand how world works!
Plus me having almost no beard doesn't help.
It freaking sucks not be seen as an adult
I'm also kinda worried that that will be a thing that could tip the scales when finding a job. You know, you go at an interview and they don't take you seriously :\

I'm 27, and if I'm cleanly shaved I have to carry around my ID . I don't drink alcohol, so it's not really a problem, but sometimes I get asked if I'm really 18 or older.
A big, manly beard helps. Too bad you can't grow one

Couple of months ago when i wanted to buy some smokes, they asked for ID.. (Mind that you have to be 16+ here for that)..
And i was really close to being 28 at that time

Do you attract pedos? |
no!
Well, when I was on one gay site there was a guy that was 35 that was hitting on me and I found that gross xD
Plus I have a bf
It's just that it's frustrating that people don't take me seriously
I would understand my friends not taking me seriously, but they're my friends and we all don't act our age xD Last night a bunch of us got together and played munchkins I didn't played it before, and it was really fun

This used to happen to me all the time, and I hated it. I would get asked for an ID every time buying alcohol or smokes. Now I'm 28, and I look more my age, don't get carded anymore, and people don't treat me like a child as much lol.

Well I don't want to look like I'm 45 xD But it would be easier for people to take me more seriously if I looked 'like an adult'
