Trying to cheat my way out of some googling here So if you're a fan of those first-person exploration and adventure games like Amnesia, Penumbra, Gone Home, Dear Esther and whatever else, can you remember exactly what gameplay time each had? I'm starting my own project (Cthulhu/Ahnenerbe themed) and I'm trying to balance the amount of content offered for the average price of such games. Apparently right now there's too much of it for a 9.99 price tag. P.S. Of course I played them all a bit just don't have time to complete each. Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

Gone Home was about 2 hours or so, possibly 3. Most of these "first-person exploration and adventure" indie games will run between 2-5 hours or so.

Well, if it's your first project of this type, why don't offer more than competition for the same price, to build up a good name and make them follow your future projects? Damn capitalists, treating customers as numbers!

gone home is one bullshit of a game, worst ending/plot ever in this "first person experience" genre, or 'interactive installations" as totalbiscuit calls them. Its not about the lenght, its about atmosphere/quality.
