From all these different providers there are, i have only found one (which is netvibes) that is actually properly made and doesn't feel like a cheap ripoff.

Yeah got that one for years already, mail widget was absolute on igoogle, hence why i don't have it anymore on the other 
(plus on the SS you could had seen the extension to be there dupek )

Joking aside, I am with sausje on this one, I hate it when services I use close down or change, it always takes me ages to get used to it, and then it goes and fucking changes again.

I never could get used to it. I used it, but it started behaving weird so I removed iGoogle, and started using Google.
Btw, why are they closing it? Because of i in front (Apples patent)?

Yeah, back when they announced that they would stop iGoogle, I got to terms with it pretty quickly and realized that I mainly used Google Reader on my iGoogle page. So I just made Reader my Start Page.
Then they announced they would discontinue Google Reader. Dicks.
