Well the move from London to Birmingham was not a good one in my opinion. It was INSANELY busy compared to previous years. Birmingham is more central to the UK than London so Im pretty sure that would have played a factor. And because it was so INSANELY busy, queuing for upto 3 hours to play 15 minutes of a AAA game is fucking nuts.
So in two days, I literally played 3 games. So I played Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Just Cause 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Thankfully they were the only 3 I really wanted to play. There were others I wanted to play but not worth 3 hours queuing. If it continues to be so busy I may consider not going next year. Compared to last year there were not that many big games and I gutted that Halo Guardians was mutiplayer only and even more fucking gutted that Fallout 4 was not there.
And from what I saw there were only 2 Playstation VR stations. And I found out too late that they required pre-booking and were by appointment only.
I also attended a Developer Session for the new Hitman game which featured David Bateson, the guy who has been voicing Agent 47 in all of the games for the last 15 years. He also looks like him surprisingly!
And it was posted to Youtube!
It was pretty disappointing this year but I got some pictures too which I may post later if anyone is interested.
