Why have it enabled when you're using a keyboard? I can't stand autocorrect at the best of times but at least it has a function and a place on mobile devices.

Because I like it when typing in English.  I think a system-wide at least highlighting of mistakes is good. But autocorrect when trolling makes me have to have a look at every "misspelled" word and fix it to hurrdurrglish.

Really? I find it fucking annoying, because just like the iOS one it doesn't actually correct anything half the time 
I'd prefer a red highlight like the browsers do; or a suggested fix only like Android, rather than this attitude of HAHA WE "FIX" ENJOY GOING BACK TO REALLY FIX
(yesyes, I know you can change the settings and in iOS too, the default is just bad imo) |

I don't make that many mistakes when using a keyboard, so I have not had problems with it. On iOS, it is difficult not to make mistakes, so there it is way more annoying.

That automatic shit is the worst bullcrap ever (atleast with Finnish it doesnt work at all, it only just fucks up every word you are trying to write
