Since a week or so, i have been getting this error when playing games or watching movie etc..

 Spoiler:

As you can clearly see, i'm not running low on memory, not even close to it.. Neutral
Yet this pops up all the fucking time.. It's fucking annoying..

Anyone got any idea what this might be? Is my ram getting faulty? That it might try and access a part of it but it can't due to it being broken?

i3-2310m@2.1GHz + GT520m + 4GB DDR3-1333 vs i7-2600k@4.2GHz + GTX770 4GB + 8GB DDR3-1333. Take a guess Razz

So as expected, ram isn't faulty.

I do have an idea what it might can be tho, but the strange thing is, why now suddenly? I NEVER got those messages before.. But yeah, i think it's because i disabled my pagefile completely..

Might be a particular app or update that triggers the message since it can't find the page OR the swapfile (in Win8.x there's both a swapfile and a pagefile). There's no reason to disable them though. Just enable them and let Windows control them.

From your screenshot I can't really make out that much though, dutch and japanese aren't my fortés.

yeah, disabling pagefile is never a good idea. There is no reason for it anyhow.

Pagefile has been more or less useless since win7 tho, plus it takes up precious space on my SSD.. So i rather have it disabled.. Sad

Well you've answered your own question/problem then.

And no, it isn't useless even with a SSD.

just trim pagefile to like 1gb min/max. Windows likes to use it to put dll's etc there. And there is no harm in doing so either. Windows might reserve the space (page.sys file or whatever), but there is no writing done, unless it is explicitly used (it will just create a index, which is like nothing).

Page file can be moved to another HD with larger space. I did that so my SSD would have more space and put page file on my 3TB drive.
