There is this movie from Ethan Hawkem a couple of years ago. The only thing i can remember from the movie is that he play's a cop. He get's in very very deep trouble and he know soms ve gangsters in the ghetto in a building are making allot of money from illegal shit. He went there as a cop to investigate some gangsters but they ha'd nothing on them. So almost in the end the cop "Ethan Hawke" is so deep into trouple that he needs money so fast that he desides to take the fucking money from the gangsters.. He goes to the ghetto to this one building where he is going to get this money from the gangsters. He been there before and it is very dangerous grounds. All i can remember is that the first time he get to this building below just before the building there is this little kid holding watch for the gangsters. The second time when he (the cop Ethan Hawke) is so crazy for that money he returns to that building where the gangsters are located and this little kid is there for the second time just before the hallway of the building holding watch for the gangsters. The cop shoots every gangster that get's in he's way. Into the house where the money is located just before he shoots the last gangster he asks where the money is located. The money was in a washing machine and he grabs the money and get the fuck out of there...
This is the only thing i can remember from this movie. I think 99% sure that this cop in that movie was Ethan Hawke. I'm not 100% sure.. I need to find back this amazing movie. This movie was so intence! This is i think my best movie ever. And i need to find it back.. I tried imdb and searched all the movies of ethan hawke but strangly i couldn't find it.. I have a very hard time finding it back.
If someone knows or even think he knows what movie i am talking about then SPIT IT OUT NOW!

Bits of that sound like Training Day (the cop that's crazy for the money isn't Ethan Hawke though, it's the crooked cop played by Denzel Washington, he needs the money to pay off Russian mobsters. Hawk plays the straight cop) -- but yeah, other than that, a lot of what you described sounds like Training Day. Fantastic film too!

i lolled.. Everyone knows about Training Day..

Are you sure? The part with the washing machine definitely happens in Brooklyn's Finest.
Same director as Training Day, btw.

I'm sure it's not Brooklyns Finest.. OR maybe it is. I remember from brooklyns finiest this nigga driving this bmw 7 series. From that i know it's a different movie.
