Every now and then I get a database error when trying to load the site. After a couple of refreshes it loads again.

Oh wasn't saying there isn't some people with an ear to the heart of the scene here.
Just saying that the forum areas where anyone can post anything, and expecting it to be accurate without any fluff or random nonsense, isn't the best idea, or the best reflection of who knows what here.
Id equal it to asking people you don't know, that just walked out of a club, whats going on inside. Expect 1/2 of the people that do talk to you, to be blowing smoke up your ass..regardless if they know or not

the pre-leak hype threads are just a very fun nforce tradition, i still remember the old gta 4 and even san andreas threads, it was crazy.

Indeed, it's the "GTA effect".
San Andreas' release day still holds our record of largest number of users online at the same time (1006 / 08 Jun 2005).
From what I remember the forums were fine back then, I guess the php 2 is really starting to feel the effect of some senile dementia xD |

Yeah this is what I was thinking too. We're underestimating the Humps' popularity these days imo, not to mention now that we're also Google indexed like bawsess in an pseudo-Orwellian way like Shock mentioned.
My motion tracker is going insane, I sense that the number of creepy lurkers is incredibly high, much higher than during any other AAA+ game released in the last 2-3 years. There's something weird indeed going on with the counter, there must be.  |

The counter is always broken in phpBB, never worked properly. Let alone the people who hide their online status (not sure if this version has it). It's only registered users too.
