Seems to be a legit site owned by Gamespy/IGN where you pay to download full versions of games...
But I wonder how this workls with no physical retail CD/DVD... what about the copy protections? Do they offer copy-protection-free games for download and if so why don't the iso groups just get these games and release them, and not have to bother cracking them?

You only get to install like 5 times or something.
Not sure of any protection beyond that.

I'm pretty sure it uses the protection that shipped with the normal retail game + the DirectDrive bullshit. It would be nice if someone who has used it would tell us what its like.

I think it's using the ActiveMark protection..
And if it does, then DO NOT BUY AND DOWNLOAD THE GAME!
You'll get serious problems with it..
I know people who have bought game thru ActiveMark, and there have only been problems!

I don't understand why someone wants to buy a game there? You have a limited usability with five installs only (that's not much for me... i reinstall a lot), you don't get a cd or printed manual, yet they expect their customers to pay the same price as for the retailers version. And the industry is wondering why their online offers are not succesfull in the way like e-bay, idiots... but of course only online pirates are to blame for this.

Personally I don't like printed manuals, boxes, cases so that part Is fine with me. You need to take in mind that you are paying for the right to use the product/a license, not the box and so one, hehe. But limited install and Activemark sounds like crap all the way. A similar app like Steam would have been better.
