Lately i've been feeling weird freezings with my PC..Don't know if it's a program or the GPU overheating (i highly doubt it),but it's been touching my balls A LOT ><

The PC specs are in my Signature,yet the oldest part of the MoBo is the PSU..700W but it's been 3-5 years there around,can't say exactly for sure...The rest is new also except for the Antec 900 tower.

The thing is,lately,when playing games,sometimes,RANDOMLY, The game FREEZES IT'S IMAGE,yet the sound still plays...After a few seconds from the freezing,the screen (while still on) becomes black..the audio still plays and after a few seconds the audio resumes "normally"..i can press ESC to pause the game while the screen stays black for a total of near 10-20 seconds...

Once the game returns,everything moves CHOPPY,HIGH STUTTERING,BELOW 60FPS ..I've started experiencing this with GTA IV EFLC TBOGT and now with Team Fortress 2 (TF2 plays at 55-60C of GPU TEMPERATURE,if that helps)

What's going on?..am i having a virus on the PC?..Do i have to format my HDD and reinstall W7 to repair the problem?

Help please,this never happened to me before and it's worrying me out (Specially since tomorrow SAINTS ROW IV ,followed by Splinter Cell Black List and others are coming out FAST.

Sometimes when this happens the Windows' top border looks plain and flat without transparency...could be a serious topic related to AERO or an AERO Configuration (the typical "Keep the aero and don't ask again" or something )

Is there any other info you guys need to try to get a solution for me?

Thanks in advance

Its a GPU issue, the driver crashes. Try lower your GPU clocks if its overclocked. It can be also driver issue.

"Frolsa: Yes, yes, now double click on that..." "nvlddmkm stopped responding"

YEP,that's what it says there!!.... 9 Frigging Times...

The GPU is OC'd by default out of the box...i don't OC stuff by myself because well..i don't want to burn my entire tower ^^;;;;

What i did was to uninstall the nVidia drivers 100% (Stable,NOT BETA),everything nVidia from the PC,then re-install it after rebooting the PC each time i removed an nVidia installation (and,while installing the new drivers,i've checked the "Make a correct install" or something)

After reinstalling the latest drivers nothing like this, on TF2 nor the recent SPLINTER CELL BLACKLIST,ever happened again...FOR NOW....

Thank you all!,i was worried as fuck ><;;...i'll let you know if it happens again!!...and NO,NO ARTIFACTS HAPPENED (Unlike my poor 8800GT wich made STARCRAFT 2 to burn the baby down ..LIKE THIS http://dantiscus.deviantart.com/art/STARCRAFT-2-Freezing-2-173369327 ...after changing the 8800GT to a 460GTX back in time...SMOOOOOOOOOTH..and WORKING)

Anyways...is there a way to prevent this shit to continue happening in future problems related to the nvlddmkm thing?..Should i touch something from the nVidia control panel?

Its either a gpu instability/ or a driver conflict somewhere. Nothing in control panel should be responsible for this.
