So I've been trying to run Spider-Man 2 on my RGH'd 360 with no luck. I followed this instruction:
Quote:
The first thing you need is a HDD attached to your JTAGed xbox360, not a USB hard drive. Download and transfer the HDD Compatibility Partition Fixer v1 to your JTAG. It can be downloaded HERE Attached File hdd_compat_partition_fixer_v1.zip 996.66KB 1987 downloads
Use the file manager in FSD to run the default.xex, let it do it's thing and when complete reboot your console.
!!! WARNING !!!
This application will wipe your maybe existing Partition2
!!! WARNING !!!
Now download the Hacked Xbox1 Emulator from HERE Attached File xb1-5829-nov-2007-hacked.zip 35.64MB 2082 downloads and transfer the entire compatibility folder over to partition 2 (HDDX) on your JTAG. You can either put the folder on a USB and use the FSD file manager to copy it over or use the built in FTP. If you cant see the second partition make sure you have Advanced File manger enabled in the FSD settings.
Use Qwix to extract your xbox1 game ISO's into folder format, it can be downloaded HERE Attached File Qwix101.rar 1.1MB 1092 downloads . Once you have extracted the ISO to folder format you will have a folder with the same name of the game filled with many files. Transfer this folder over to your JTAG in a folder named Xbox1, so if the game was Black you would transfer the folder Black to Usb:\Xbox1\ or Hdd:\Xbox1. Now go in FSD and set a game path for the Xbox1 folder and make sure to check the xbox1 box.
Now when you go to the Xbox1 section in FSD you will see your Xbox1 games and can load them easily.
** Update **
You can also use ISO2GOD to create a GoD'ed version of the xbox1 iso, after that simply place the resulting folder in your Xbox1 games folder and FSD will pick it up on your next content scan.
ISO2GOD can be downloaded HERE
Enjoy
The game I've been trying to run is Spider-Man 2.
When I try to run it, an original XBOX's logo briefly appears, and then a black screen. If I wait a while I can hear the logos playing etc, if I try to click a couple of buttons menus seem to be responsive but aren't (I can't hear in-game sound). When I press the guide button on the 360 I can hear the sound of it coming up, but I can't see it, and it seems frozen as well. The only way to come back to any previous menus is to power the X360 off and on again.
I tried downloading both regions of the game (PAL and NTSC), both have the same problem. Spider-Man 2 is on the compatibility list BTW.
Not sure what else I can tell you, I haven't tried any other classic Xbox games but I wanted to play SM2 so much
X360 is connected to my monitor via HDMI->DVI cable because for some reason my monitor (Dell U2311H) doesn't have HDMI (only VGA, DVI and DisplayPort). My PC is connected to the VGA output though.
1. The "HDMI Handshake" that occurs might be giving the backwards compatibility some issues (highly uneducated opinion)
2. The game simply does not work on 360. (very educated opinion)
I highly suggest trying another game as this is the guide that I followed on both my RGH'd AND my JTAG'd 360's. If that other game doesn't work, then you might have an issue. Usually, when a xbox game doesn't work, there'll be a message or the game just won't launch, IIRC. I haven't played any xbox games in a while though, so take this last piece of advice with a whole sea's worth of salt.

If it's 480P then I guess that's still HD...sort of. Stupid xbox.
