Could it be possible to make it so that replies in that forum cannot be deleted? Being able to edit a reply is fine, but there is suspicion that there may be people who are making a post in a topic to see what is enclosed in the hidden tags, taking a key and then deleting the reply.

Yeah, I'm with Newty on this. Keys are getting used and sometimes there's "supposedly" nobody around to use them. It's an epic dick move, but egh. Or and this is probably a leap but, do the staff have access to some kind of recycle bin for posts? Do they get stored when someone deletes them?

I did mention something like that before towards mrt, but that was just that the content stays unhidden after deleting the post.
This gonna be more harder to counter, with the only option (at least that i see) instant topic reply notification with messages/poster names in there.

mrt can set permissions per forum, and he can disable deletion. Why is hard to counter?

Ah didn't knew he had the option to turn off deletion per forum section.
Nvm my thing then
What would be even better is to script something that a person needs to click a button in order to open the spoiler, then that gets recorded and other users can see the content of that very box and see who opened it. (something among those lines).
Then we know who took what.
Because people can still post just a " " and take a key without saying a word, and if there are multiple replies already then it's kinda hard to guess who took what. (especially people that are just posting to see what was posted are kinda messing it up)

ya, most any forum, at least that I've moderated/admin'd, you change change almost every permission per section, even down to an individual person.

I am pretty stoked to see a new version of the forum though. Been here for 7 or something years.

This would be very helpful indeed. It's not the first time and it wont be the last that nasty stealthy panthers post&delete just to take the prize and show the invisible finger to some generous humper.

Mm thought I already posted in here. But yeah if it is possible I'd like to see this feature. Seems to me it's getting worse and worse.
Wish a thank you wasn't so hard for some people!

Oy! probably already been suggested, but how about removing the option to delete posts in that section and have the editing post option intact? Seriously much to ask to have people sit and monitor replies and micro manage their keys.
