I having trouble converting a divx movie to vcd can any one tell me of a good program that will do this. the audio is ac3 5 channel and virtual dub wount save the audio as a wave. i also cant get the file in to tmpgenc it says that it does not support this file. oh yeah any one ever heard of a mkv. file i got one but dont no what to do to convert it to vcd help please.

extract the audio in virtual dub to a wav file. use a programm like headache to convert the audio to a stereo wav. then use virtual dub to merge the video from the one and the new stereo audio track. set video to direct stream. save as a new avi and now your old way of converting should do.
