Last year the government wanted to approve a law that regulates all salaries in the goverment workers, its all good but I in the place i work at would lose benefits, LOTS of benefits such as 1.5 salary i get paid per year i worked if i get fired, now i get 1 salary i think. Also i used to get an extra salary every 3 months if i reached all my KPI and goals, now i get shit. 75% salary each year as a vacation bonus, now i get shit.
Just what i needed, less income. As if it wasnt enough being denied a raise i wanted for fucking years.
Now i think this is it, the law just got approved, its on and noone will stop it this time around. Now i either get a new position since everyone is planning to quit or i will have to quit and get a better job IF i can since i havent graduated, everyone i work with is either graduated or has a family to support them, i have shit, i support my house, cant adventure it.
How fucking nice. Sigh patience, i can only hope for something to make me feel better tomorrow when i go to work to hear the people talking about the law.
Edit: Now a friend of mine who had moved weeks ago had a huge loan taken because he could cover it with his current situation, im said he was crushed today when he hear the news, i can imagine that he wont be able to cover the loan he just started and will have to do something about the house or the job, and hes one of the best programmers there. Oh well. Life.

That's some bad luck..you've spent years getting butt-raped by the useless government and when after many troubles you're finally being part of the 1%, with a stable situation, they actually decide to do something concrete to cut the expenses.
The government is clearly trolling you  (and it sucks  )

I applaud the law because it will solve a lot of problems, control a lot of corruption etc, but it hits too hard to the decent legit middle and low workers, it kind of loses its point if its gonna crush the whole morale and workforce to pieces. The fuck...

Yeah that's the worst part... honest workers sadly are always the easy target when it comes to go ahead and do some aggressive spending cut. It happened here as well. Lower the salaries, raise the age of retirement et voilà, problems fixed (not). Meanwhile, corruption and enormous tax evasion are completely unaffected and keep sinking the country into debt and social anger.

No offence but don`t you get tired of making a topic every time something goes wrong in your country? It happens all over the world not only in Dominican.
