Looks like crap. The trailer convinced me this was shot on a "low" budget (eg $50m), but upon research the budget is actually $175 million

first time director as well. Some nice colours and nice shots. yes cheap cgi... but it still looks pretty nice for a first timer. If the action is decent + acting is good... we might have a new kosinski for samurai/monster movies

Definitely not the movie that I was expecting o.O
I thought this project was a more "serious" one, and instead we get the typical hollywoodian flick with banal dialogues and tons of CGI. Could still be decent for some brainless fun, though.

The imdb people seem to dig it though, not that I'm surprised or anything I'll check it out for sure anyway.

I dunno if the film will be any good, but this guy sounds stupidly biased, like the kind of guy determined to hate it, and go out of his way to trash it, taking out his dislike to the extreme
