Yeah, but this is a cheap game for DD platforms, so I'd say it's a spin off, not a reboot.

According to HumpLogic, because it's a reboot/spinoff, nobody is allowed to be disappointed or angry, it is not a continuation of the original game
Well.
A reboot is not quite the same, it probably means you'll never see a game with the same story/gameplay as the old one (which isn't necessarily a problem, if you like where the reboot is heading).
A spinoff doesn't quite stop the "main" series from having a new proper entry.

The new game might prove fun and interesting, but I wanted the reboot to be more in the realm of the original one. I'm all for new and fresh ideas when it comes down to sequels/reboots/spin-off, but they at least should've kept horror and maturity as the game's main holding pillars.

well they even ported this game to Wii ! so dunno how many played it but i liked it , it had this Buffy vibe to it
BTW I didn't evenm like the old PS2 Obscure's very much (I seem to be in the minority). I bought them both. Me and a friend thought they were mildly amusing (when enough beer and weed were involved), but didn't finish them and certainly don't consider them cult classics or anything
