But ESPECIALLY these;

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
Castle in the Sky
Grave of the Fireflies
My Neighbor Totoro
Porco Rosso
Princess Mononoke
Spirited Away
Howl's Moving Castle
Tales from Earthsea
Ponyo

And keep an eye out for;

The Wind Rises (not out in English yet, Disney releasing them)
The Tale of Princess Kaguya (not out in English yet, Disney releasing them)

Those are in release order, as for which has the "best" story? That's down to personal preference really, though you cannot and will not go wrong with "Spirited Away", "Grave of the Fireflies", "Howl's Moving Castle" and "My Neighbor Totoro" Smile

Last theatre premiere is in May (UK) so add 1-2 months and that'd be your probable release date. Or yes they hold till autumn till everyone's back from holidays.

How good for a cynical mature internet user who's seen it all or just how good? Very Happy

They're good anyway. Not as amazing as the their later works but still good and must see for your kid(s).

Only seen Spirited Away
Hauru castle
Porco Rosso
and Totoro.

all fantastic and moving

Also, I would syuggest, dont watch remasters in 1080p. With clarity, some of the hand animated charm seems gone
