So Much Win

Looks fucking awesome. Locations also seem to have much more variation in them, more colors and such, like The Fellowship of the Ring had.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

So much jumping and leaping.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

I don't get it either. Loved the first one, but it wasn't nearly as good as Lotr though.

It's sad some idiots think that way. I'm sure they don't mean it's crap, but they say it anyway because of failed expectations.

I only believe someone who says it's crap only if they don't like this genre.

Exactly. And while as a film it had some pacing issues, as an adaptation of the book it was nothing short of fantastic. They had to leave so many details out with LotR, none of that with the first one. In fact, they included some from the Silmarillion.

I'm quite a Tolkien fan so for me that was great to see. The books (or with this, book) have so many details in them that it's just a shame a lot of people will never get those (Y U NO INCLUDE BOMBADIL IN LOTR :'().

For those who didn't like the first one because of the pacing though, this part will have better pacing based on what's in the book.

i hate this genre and loved hobbit more than i did lotr. lotr put me to sleep. it was boring. tedious. sloppy. hobbit improved on what lotr lacked. which makes it better in my book.

Even if one does not like the genre, ignoring all other qualities due to disliking a genre, still makes them quite dumb.
