So I just received an email that I got 500 euro on my account and to have fun with it. The email is real and is hosted on their servers too. But when I logged in I couldn't see any money on my account.

Apparently they have a campaign right now where 10 people can win 500 euro a day if you buy stuff through them. Did I now receive money or did they just want to get my attention?

Are they allowed to trick people like this?

seems fake, their English is fucking terrible too, I had no idea what they were on about.

Müsste legit sein. Bis auf den Fakt das da nichts auf deinem Paypal Konto ist. Hast du den etwas von deren 150 Sommerangeboten gekauft? Ist nämlich die Teilnahmebedingung so wie es aussieht. Vielleicht ist es auch ganz einfach ein Systemfehler.

I just received a legit mail of some random dude handing out some random million to another random dude. But when I logged in, to their google_nigeria.com website and entered my VISA credentials I did not receive the money Sad

no, really. I would think us humpers would not be susceptible to that types of stuff. Seems very fishy to me. Why would paypal hand out 500 euros at random? And if they did, why would they just send an email, rather than phone you or send a message through the actual paypal account or so? ...

Paypal Germany has got some summer related lottery going on. That's why. So yes, he could have won 500€.
