Yeah they let the serial for the previous Jowood game cracked by Jowood...
Anyone can explain why the fuck they took this name? I guess they only crack Jowood games soo they have contacts from the interior..

I heard that JoWood fired several game-production teams, like Wings Simulations which made Söldner Secret Wars.
Maybe the fired guys are cracking the new jowood games to make Jowood pay, lol
well who knows...

Ummm... If you guys really want to play this awesome game, there's a BW (BlindWrite) copy outthere... floating around somewhere... and it works 100%.
the only problem is that you need to have a good burner to burn that mofo and a good enough cd reader (could be the same burner...) to read the cd after it was burned and satisfy all StarForce checks.
And no... you can't mount the BW Clone, since one of the things starforce does is it unmounts all virtual drives onload.
of course, the other problem is that you actually have to find the proper BW Clone... but that's your problem ;p

I’ve been tinkering around a bit and came to this conclusion: the copy protection checks wether cd-emulation is on (daemon tools, alcohol, etc), if so disables it, and wether the cd is real. The cd-emulation check has been ripped out but the other one hasn’t.
The only way to play it is either buy it or a clone version. If you burner supports burning the protection (Securom? Starforce?) then good for you, it will work no questions asked. If it doesn’t you’ll need to mount it. The only way to do this:
1) Install the game (I recommend this order Order Of Dawn-> Breath Of Winter -> Shadow Of Phoenix (BoW isn’t required but if you have it, install it before SoP)).
2) Copy the fix from the JWD release to the game dir and the /support dir.
3) Mount the clone-cd version.
Or, if a proper crack ever comes, use that.
So, ironically, it’s a crack for a clone

It works, just don't try to save. The game crashes when you try to save most likely because of a badly done crack job.

It lets you save... and it doesn't crash if you don't have any saves from prevoius games... Just install the game and play... make new saves... and it works OK...

those protections make me crazy ... Securom 7 service conflicts with crack
1) install game + addons ... copy & overwrite crack (I don't know what Support\ dir exactly doing, but you can simply remove it)
2) mount bwclone image from Carbon in daemon tools 3.47 (latest alcohol don't work)
3) disable any emulation in daemon tools
4) stop and disable Securom 7 service (Constantine and some other games)
I am tested save/load on campaign and skirmish mission - it's work ok

Yes, it does crash when you try to save. I started a new Shadow of the Phoenix campaign. Every time I hit save, the game crashes on me. I haven't tried quicksave. What key is that?

anyone else have this problem i go to in stall shadow of the phoenix and it says "a manipulated or illegal version of the game or game executables was found" i remember i used to get this problem with the original when trying to patch it i havent burnt shadow of phoenix yet but if i uninstall the original it says spellforce.exe not found so its obviously a problem with the original
i remember i got a copy alot earlier than my other warez friends so can someone tell me if i have a bad copy not sure if i got the fairlight release there is no crack directory but i know the game is buggy as all feck
failing that can someone ship me their original exe even from a legal version
edit:
alright i read the nfo (which i should have done in the first place) and it says if you are useing the FLT (fairlight for anyone who can remember back that far) version use spellforcecleaner.exe i checked and out of the 9 files i found 5 were obvious fake virus links 1 was a virus 2 were dialers and 1 was a worm where does jowood expect us to get such a file or should i just download another version and does anyone know who done the other version its not listed on nforce (please no clones)
update:
alright i tracked down spelforcecleaner and ran it and it works but i wasnt able to burn to dvd because of the crappy cd check

bodil do not install the patch from what i read there is problems with that patch shadow of the phoenix patches the game to about 1.34 anyway
what you do is uninstall and reinstall order of dawn do not crack it enter a serial or play it run spellforceclean.exe in the spellforce directory and install shadow of the phoenix with the serial in the nfo

also I am investigated what spellforceclean.exe exactly doing:
1) delete Spellforce.exe
2) rename Spellforce.dat -> Spellforce.exe
3) edit Install.log and delete line with Spellforce.dat
after this your installation will be clean

ok, it did what you told me, and i installed SotP, but now i have a new problem. when i installed OoD i only used spellforceclean.exe , and then installed SotP at once.
my new problem is that it says i have to have a cdkey for the main game. and i cant find anyone that works, and i have tryed almost everyone that is...
plz help

I can't get this sucker to work. I've done as the nfo says. But I'm still getting "Error while veryifing the cd" when the game boots up. Is a clone the only way to get this running?
The only extra thing I've done is to disable the Securom 7 service. I've also burned it to dvd. I'm gonna try with the standard playdisc.

Ok, I got it running with the unmodified playdisc mounted in Alcohol 120%. Gonna try it burned.

Burnt disc worked fine and I can save without any problems. What annoys me is that some textures are really low-quality even with 8xAF.

Okay, I got it to work now. I had to do a full uninstall of the game then re-install. Now I can save in game without any problems.

Sigh after a while i tried to resurrect spellforce to try this new expansion.
After a lot of trouble i manage to make it run however it doesn't recognize the key
- If i install Order of Dawn , play it (ans insert a key) and then try to install SodP it says key of the master game is invalid and i should have to play it again and change it (and if i do same story so i can't install SodP at all)(
- If i install OoD and immediatly after install SodP i can make it run however when i start the game it asks me for a serial for the master game.
I tried more than 20 different ones.. no one works!!
Any help is appreciated maybe as a private message!
