I've recently stumbled across a team of guys that are trying to revive the glory days of Infantry Online, before SOE screwed it over hardcore (thanks Yankee you bastard).

I've been playing a bit and the only thing missing is more players. Smile It feels just like old times.

Anyways, if you're an old fan of the game like me, or you missed out on this game, now is your chance to get the hell in there.

Uhh no, usually you have to connect to Sony's server (which used to be free, then they started charging), these guys have emulated the server for free play again. So you'd still have to connect with them to play.

I'm not sure if they ever plan on releasing their server software.

Woaaah this takes me back! I remember trying to rack up some decent points before my isp auto disconnected me. I suppose it would be easier to play on my broadband these days though. Smile
