every 3d strategy game that has come out sucks , cossacks is the only game that has everything in detail all the 3d ones look like blocks and look stupid when killing and looks fake this 3D and 2D looks very real .

I liked Generals + Expansions, I liked Warhammer Dawn of War, I like Rome Total War, Ground Control 2 ruled too... all of those had good reviews...

I want to like cossacks, and it's a good game, fun, but the combat I dislike - you can't really have those types of battles decipted in the above screenshots. It's kind of mindless unless you ask your opponent to roleplay with you.
It's a shame. But other than that it's a fun generic RTS.

In Cossacks, there is two game modes : Normal game, where you need to construct buildings to train soldiers, farms for food, etc...
And the one where you already have a shitload of men. In this last one, you automaticly have 999999+ ressources, to protect your men from starvation, lack of bullets, etc...

It's not a noob mode, it's for the people who just want to fight without having to spend 2 hours to build a town.
You have directly a complete army, and you can fight quickly =)

Exactly my thoughts.
I hope this trend of 3d strategy games die, they have no realistic feeling like 2d/3d strategy games.

strategy in 3d doesnt work, grmbl. Wont developers learn it.
Platform, strategy, rps not in 3D !!!!!!!!!!!
It doesnt sell, it has no online community and it just blows.
btw on topic now, i never liked cossacks. the gameplay looks akward and the upgrading is weird as well. and 9999999999999999 units makes it kinda hard to play it online, you keep on fighting and fighting and fighting..........

i really can't wait for April to come, from the lot of good games coming next month this is one of my favourites, i loved cossacks I, and the expansion (even being so difficult has they were), and i just want to have thoushands of soldiers in the field battling ...
