The quests are usually about one page long (text), how are you supposed to pass the first 10-20 quests without the ability (concentration) to read?
Why buy a game if you're not capable of concentrating your mind for 30 minutes?
That's what it takes (TOPS) to find the answers to your questions in the manual.
Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

There is no specific 'uber' class, you have to figure out what you want to play on your own.
Although it sounds to me like you're not really suited to this game.

Since the manual is trash, I'll try my best to aid you a bit here.
First off, there are three types of servers to pick from:
PVP
PVE
and RP (Roleplaying)
The roleplaying server uses the PVE server rulesets, which I will get into below.
How the games server ruleset system works is, for a pvp server, any player/race from an non allied faction (alliance or horde) becomes attackable in "contested zones" what is a contested zone? Contested zones are areas outside of your little noobie leveling grounds, they are usually 20+ areas. The closer they are to your main factions capital cities, the more guards/allied towns are within the zone - so even though you may be forced into pvp within these certain areas... you still have a high chance of survival.
PVE servers on the other hand use a similiar ruleset with one twist though, pvp is optional. Both players must engage in pvp by typing /pvp to make your flag public. Or, by attacking/killing npc's (Non playable characters, vendors, merchants, the like) of the enemy faction.
RP servers, which use the PVE ruleset above, are exactly the same.. the only twist is - you must remain in character at all times, deviance from roleplay such as discussing non game/world related topics usually results in a boot.
World of Warcraft is a very easy game to play, nobody can really sit down and tell you exactly what to do... since the game has so much depth to it, it is really better that you figure it out for yourself. If it is your first time, I recomend starting out with one of the more less complex classes of the game:
For horde, try a Tauren or Orc Shaman
If you prefer alliance, a Human or Dwarf Paladin
These classes are the armor wearing/healing hybrids of both factions, capable of producing decent damage, while being able to keep themselves afloat via their healing pools.
For future questions, best place to go would be http://wowvault.ign.com/
From there you can access tutorials, class forums, and general helpful information. Be sure to view the tips within the game as they are kept up to date unlike the manual that shipped with the product.
Hope that helps!

with every rpg i have found the warrior types the best, thats because i dont like running casting spell, running a bit more weeee.
but i do say i have never played a mmorpg so it could be different.
its like all the others said, take the character your best with: warriors who attack with axes and swords, elfes that use arrows, mages that have magic, etc.. etc.. . every character is good in any things

Everything depends on your preferred playstyle.
If you just want a plain old RPG where you're relatively safe from being attacked in most places, go with a PvE server.
If you want a more "realistic" experience (the background of the game is a war between the 2 factions), go with a PvP server. DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU TEND TO BITCH.
If you're into roleplaying and such, go with an RP server. I must warn you, the level of nerddom shown by some people on RP servers is scary.
Now that we've decided your faction, time to choose your class.
If you like fighting in melee, 1v1, your best bet is a paladin or warrior (ali), or shaman (horde).
If you prefer to sneak around and patiently stalk your prey, your best bet is a rogue (either faction)
If you like to stay back and do damage while someone else fights to keep the target off your back, go with a warlock (either), a mage (either), or a shaman (horde).
If you prefer to do less damage but be a valued member of groups by healing everyone, become a priest (either).
At your level of experience, the race doesn't matter, and neither will the stat bonus that comes with it. If you're in the alliance, become a night elf if possible, because you get a racial ability to shadowmeld, or disappear, regardless of class. This can be very useful. I don't know enough about horde bonuses to advise you on those
At this point, you should already be playing. Find NPC's with big yellow exclamation marks above their heads and speak to them. This will help you get the basics of the game, make some friends, and understand what role you're comfortable with assuming. Feel free to start over with another character and experiment if you don't like something. The first 20 levels are easy enough to both give you a taste of what your class/race/faction is good and bad for, and it does not take too long to reach.
Once you find something you like: stick with it. Train in what you're good with. If you like doing quests, do them. If you like grinding (killing the same thing over several times to get loot), do that. Don't pay attention if people are jumping ahead or falling behind you in levels, play at your own pace. And, of course, don't forget to enjoy yourself. It can be upsetting if you've spent the last twenty minutes going after a valuable item, and that item is stolen by some idiot who vanishes seconds later. Then again, the game isn't about getting any item. It's about having fun, and good loot is only a part of that.
And, if you ever play on Lightning's Blade, send my character Eldariil a /tell if you need help, I'm usually on far more than I should be.
